AI is optional — and it's per case

Most files never need it, so it isn't bundled into the monthly price. When a file does need it, a one-time $15 plus applicable GST/HST turns the AI features on for that case for good: AI audits, letter drafting across all 9 types, IRCC form fill, Chrome-extension portal autofill, questionnaire autofill, document gap analysis, and case chat. Nothing is metered after that — draft, re-draft, audit, and re-run as the file demands. Your firm's first AI case is on us, and every case you never switch it on for costs nothing extra.

The only guardrail is a light fair-use cooldown that trips on automated or scripted abuse, the kind of thing no human doing casework would ever set off.

What does the $29 a month include?
The whole firm and the whole platform: unlimited cases, unlimited team members, unlimited applicants per case, plus contacts, documents, questionnaires, tasks, the calendar, eSignatures, the client portal, the full IRCC catalogue, invoicing, reporting and team chat. No tiers, no feature gates, no add-ons. The only thing priced separately is AI, and that is optional and per case.
Do I pay per user or per case?
Neither. $29 a month covers the entire firm. Add every RCIC, paralegal, intake coordinator and accountant you have, and open as many cases as you actually work — the monthly price doesn't move. There are no seats to buy and no volume bands.
How does the free first 30 days work?
Your first 30 days are free and no card is needed to start. Create the account, bring your team in, run real files. Nothing is charged during the trial; when it ends you add a payment method to keep going.
How is the AI priced?
Per case, and only if you want it. A one-time $15 plus applicable GST/HST turns the AI features on for that case permanently — audits, letter drafting, IRCC form fill, portal autofill and case chat — and nothing is metered after that. There's no per-action charge, no credit balance and no spend cap on a case you've switched on. Most cases never need it, and your firm's first AI case is free.
What about months I don't open any cases?
The subscription is what keeps your firm's workspace, client portals, stored documents and audit history live, so it bills whether you open one file or thirty. There's no minimum case count and no overage — $29 is $29, in a busy quarter and a quiet one.
How am I charged?
$29 plus applicable GST/HST is charged monthly to the card on file. If you turn AI on for a case, that's a separate one-time $15 plus tax on the same card — you'll always see it before you confirm. All payments run securely through Stripe.
How do I get started?
Create your account — it takes a couple of minutes. We review every firm before activating an account (we check your designation and membership number), then email you a link to sign in. Your first 30 days are free and you don't need a card to start.
Can I export my data and leave?
Yes. Export everything in CSV / native formats from Settings. No exit fees. Your data is yours.
